R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont acquired right-of-way land
for the Cardinal Drive project in the J. A. Veatch Survey; and,
WHEREAS, approximately .1244 acres of said land is not
necessary for said project; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, under the authority of
Article 5421c-12 of Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes, desires to
publish notice that the land is to be offered for sale to the
general public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont is hereby
authorized to advertise in a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of Beaumont that the City of Beaumont desires to offer
for sale to the general public approximately .1244 acres of land
out of the J. A. Veatch Survey and fronting on Cardinal Drive
and that said published notice shall contain a description of the
land, its location and the procedures under which sealed bids
to purchase the
land
may be submitted.
