R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 9, 1972, the City received bids for'
furnishing sodium.silicofluoride for municipal purposes for
the City of Beaumont for the period beginning June 1; 1972,
and ending May 31, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, Van Waters & Rogers submitted a bid for
furnishing such sodium silicofluoride; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Van Waters & Rogers is the best bid and
should be accepted, and that a Contract with Van Waters &
Rogers for furnishing sodium silicofluoride should be executed,
and that the said sodium silicofluoride be purchased from
Van Waters & Rogers under said Contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Van Waters & Rogers be accepted and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont a Contract with Van Waters &
Rogers for furnishing sodium silicofluoride for municipal
purposes for the period of June 1, 1972, to May 31, 1973,at
the unit price as specified in their bid; and that the City
Clerk be, and he is hereby, authorized to attest to said
Contract and to affix the seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
