A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the acquisition of a. strip of land off the
east line of Lindbergh Avenue out of the Caldwood Addition
of the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, is essential
to the location, construction, straightening, widening, and
maintenance of Lindbergh Avenue, and is considered in the
best interest of the City of..Beaumont; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Legal Department be, and it is hereby, directed to
purchase from the property owners of the hereinabove described
strip of land as may be necessary for the hereinabove described
purpose at the appraised fair cash value of the property.
PASSED by the City Council this �` day of May,
1972.
