A RE S O LUT I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has purchased Lots No.
562 and 563, in Block No. 5 of the Original Townsite of
Beaumont from the Edson Realty Company; and,
WHEREAS, the Edson Realty Company has heretofore
leased said premises to Continental Southern Lines, Inc., for
a term of ten (10) years beginning April 1, 1972 and ending
March 31, 1982; and,
WHEREAS, Continental Southern Lines, Inc., has released
its interest in said lease from Edson Realty Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a lease of said premises to Continental Southern Lines,
Inc. to be used as a public bus terminal for a term of five
(5) months, beginning May 1, 1972 and ending September 30,
1972, for and in consideration of the release of said above-
mentioned lease from Edson Realty Company to Continental
Southern Lines, Inc., by said Continental Southern Lines, Inc._;
and the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, authorized to attest
to same and to affix the Seal of the City thereto.
