A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, the State of Texas and the City.of Beaumont
wish to cooperate, as evidenced in Minute Orders 65838 and
65839, in the modernization and installation of Traffic.Signals
at some 45 intersections in Beaumont under the Federal -Aid
Traffic Operations Program to Increase Capacity and Safety;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the State of Texas
desire to enter into a "Municipal Construction and Maintenance
Agreement", specifying their rights, liabilities and obliga-
tions with respect to this project;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a
Municipal Construction and Maintenance Agreement concerning
the modernization and installation of Traffic Signals at some
45 intersections in the City of Beaumont; and the City Clerk
be, and he is hereby, authorized to attest to said agreement
and to affix the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
