A RESOLUT ION
WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Texas, based on
the recommendation of the Criminal Justice Council Executive
Committee, has awarded the City of Beaumont a $448,500.00
grant for the Police and Municipal Courts Building; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said
grant should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute an acceptance agreement accepting the above mentioned
grant in behalf of the City of Beaumont.
