R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, as part of the development of a comprehensive
plan for the City of Beaumont, the City of Beaumont desires
information concerning economic performance and direction of
this area; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that
the City should retain a researcher to assist the City in
developing this information;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with Richard T. Cherry, Ph.D., as a researcher
for the City at a total cost to the City not to exceed $1200.00;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said
contract and to affix the seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
