R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received informal bids for the
rental of one (1) 3/4 yard crawler type backhoe for the Sanitary
Sewer Department; and,
WHEREAS, Tide Equipment Company submitted a bid for
furnishing the rental of one (1) 3/4 yard crawler..type backhoe;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council -is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Tide Equipment Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Tide Equipment Company in the amount of $1,350
per month be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and that said
3/4 yard crawler type backhoe be rented from Tide Equipment
Company for approximately three months.
PASSED by the City Council this the .,V11 day of
