R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 7, 1972, the City received bids for
furnishing recapping, retreading and repair services for
municipal purposes for the City of Beaumont for the period
beginning April 1, 1972 and ending March 31, 1973; and,
- WHEREAS, Jack's Tire Service Co. submitted a bid for
furnishing recapping, retreading and repair services; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Jack's Tire Service Co. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted, and that a contract with Jack's
Tire Service Co. for furnishing recapping, retreading and repair
services should be executed, and that the said recapping,
retreading and repair services should be purchased from Jack's
Tire Service Co. under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:.
That the bid of Jack's Tire Service Co -be accepted and the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Beaumont a contract with Jack's Tire
Service Co. for furnishing recapping, retreading and repair
services for municipal purposes for the period beginning April 1,
1972 and ending March 31, 1973 at the unit prices as quoted in
their bid; and the City.'Clerk be, and he is hereby, authorized
to attest to said contract and to affix the seal of the City
of Beaumont thereto.
