A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Mar -Len, Inc.
entered into a certain agreement dated October 15, 19713 by
which agreement Mar -Len, Inc. agreed to provide material,
equipment and labor -.for the construction of certain improve-
ments to the City's Waste Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed,under which said Change Order certain locally manu-
factured products will be purchased, resulting in a net
savings to the City of approximately $4,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the above described
Change Order No. 1 to the original contract to be effective
as of March 21, 1972; and be it further resolved that the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix
the Seal of the City thereto.
