R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Booth Roofing Company,
Inc., executed a certain Contract on November 30, 1971, for the
application of a 20 -year bonded roof and flashing on the City
Hall Building at a total contract price of $12,544.00; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of this roofing work, water
damages resulted to the walls and the ceilings of the City Hall
Building; and,
WHEREAS, Booth Roofing Company, Inc., has agreed to make
repairs necessitated by said water damage; and,
WHEREAS, it has further been agreed that the sum of
$10,844.16 is to be paid to Booth Roofing Company, Inc., at
this time, and the sum of $1,699.84 is to be held by the City
until the above -stated repairs have been completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Controller, or his designee, be and he is hereby
authorized to pay the sum of $10,844.16 to Booth Roofing Company,
Inc., as payment on the above-mentioned Contract.

March, 1972. ,
