A RESOLUT ION
WHEREAS, the City received bids on February 29, 1972,
for furnishing one Four -Wheel "Wayne" Diesel.Sweeper for the
Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Browning & Ferris Machine Company submitted
a bid for furnishing said Four -Wheel "Wayne" Diesel Sweeper;
and,
WHEREAS, the City -Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Browning & Ferris Machine Company is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Browning & Ferris Machine Company in the amount
of $18,272.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the %G/W day of
1972.
