A RE SOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City received informal bids on February
9, 1972, for furnishing the floor carpet for the new Council
Chambers; and,
WHEREAS, Cobbs Carpets & Draperies submitted a bid
for furnishing said floor carpet; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Cobbs Carpets & Draperies is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Cobbs Carpets & Draperies in the amount of
$1,012.96 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the G' day of
1972.
