A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, a city water pump motor has been damaged
and rendered inoperable; and,
WHEREAS, the hazard created to the public health
requires immediate repair of said pump; and,
WHEREAS, the emergency situation does not allow time
for a formal bidding procedure for such repairs and informal
bids have been received; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid of Beaumont Armature Works in the amount of $2,245.00 is
the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Water Department is authorized to expend the
sum of $2,245.00 for repairs to said water pump motor.
PASSED by the City Council this the day of
1972.
