A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, construction of a new police station and
new central library facility under the Capital Improvements
Program will necessitate the construction of parking facil-
ities to serve said police station and central library facility;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont does not presently
have sufficient land for the construction of said parking
facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Staff is hereby authorized to conduct a site
study,including appraisals, of possible sites for the con-
struction of said parking facilities, and to make recomenda-
tions to the City Council regarding the acquisition of
necessary properties for said parking facilities.
PASSED by the City Council this the g7 day of
1972.
