A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of October, 1971, The City of
Beaumont, Texas, filed with the County Clerk of Jefferson County,
Texas, two certain liens in the amount of $103.00, including all
costs of recording, covering Lots TWENTY-SIX (26), TWENTY-SEVEN (27),
TWENTY-EIGHT (28), TWENTY-NINE (29) and THIRTY (30), Block FIVE (5),
VIRGINIA ESTATES ADDITION to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas; and, Lot FOUR (4), Block TWO (2), VIRGINIA ESTATES ADDITION
to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens
are recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1408
at Page 422 and Volume 1408 at Page 427; and
WHEREAS, FRANK L. DOVER, C. A. KOHLER, OSCAR N. ELDRIDGE
and M. L. LEFLER, the owners of said_.proper-ty,. desire -to pay to,
theCity of Beaumont the money represented by said liens and have
same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That KEN RITTER, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver to the said FRANK L. DOVER, C. A. KOHLER, OSCAR N.
ELDRIDGE and M. L. LEFLER, a release of the above described liens,
for and in consideration of the sum of $103.00, receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to same and to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
