R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Texas Library and Historical Commission
has authorized the designation of the Tyrrell Public Library
as an Area Library under the Library Systems Act, as author-
ized by House Bill 2601 1969, 61st Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, the Tyrrell Public Library is an Area
Library member of the Houston System; and,
WHEREAS, the service area of the Tyrrell Public
Library includes all libraries presently assigned 'to it, and
all libraries the Texas State Library may assign in the future;
and,
WHEREAS, our library performs under Interlibrary
Loan Agreements with all libraries in its service area, and
provides copies of types of materials not lent at five cents
(5�) per page and operates as a consulting service to the
area libraries serviced,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the designation of the.Tyrrell Public Library and its
branches as an Area Library under the Library Systems Act
authorized by House Bill No..260, 1969, 61st Legislature is
hereby accepted.
