A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received on December 7, 1971, for
furnishing aggregate for seal coat for municipal purposes for
The City of Beaumont for the period beginning January 1, 1972
and ending December 31, 1972; and,
WHEREAS, Servtex Materials Company submitted a bid for
furnishing aggregate for seal coat which was the lowest and
best bid received, and the City Manager recommended that the
bid of Servtex Materials Company for furnishing aggregate for
seal coat be accepted and that a contract be entered into with
said Company, and that aggregate for seal coat be purchased
from Servtex Materials Company under said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
December 14 , 197 1, with Servtex Materials Company
for the furnishing of aggregate for seal coat for the period
beginning January 1, 1972 and ending December 31, 1972; and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract
and to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
