A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received December 7, 1971, for
furnishing limestone base for municipal purposes for The City
of Beaumont for the period beginning January 1, 1972 and end-
ing -December 31, 1972; and;
WHEREAS, Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. sub-
mitted a bid for furnishing limestone base which was the
lowest and best bid received, and the City Manager recommended
that the bid of Davidson Construction.Materials, Inc. for
furnishing limestone base be accepted and that a contract be
entered into with said Company, and that limestone base be
purchased from Davidson Construction Materials, Inc. under
said contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to ex-
ecute on behalf of The City of Beaumont a contract dated
December 14 , 1971 , with Davidson Construction Materials,
Inc. for the furnishing of limestone base for the period be-
ginning January 1, 1972 and ending December 31, 1972; and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract
and to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
