A R E.S 0 LUT ION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, on March 19, 1968,
agreed to participate, on a fifty fifty basis, with the State
of Texas in the removal and replacement of a communication line
owned by Mobil Pipeline Company; and,
Whereas, the Texas Highway Department has determined
that the upper limit of State costs participation will be
$1,245.94; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Texas will reimburse the City of
Beaumont 50% of this amount when Mobil Pipeline Company has
been reimbursed by the City and the State is properly billed
in accordance with Section 21.08 of the Utility Manuals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Controller, or his designee, be, and he is here-
by authorized to pay Mobil Pipeline Company $1,245.94 for the
removal and replacement of their communication line, and he
is further authorized to make application to the State of Texas
for reimbursement for 50% of this amount.
