A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, the City received bids on November 30, 19713,
for purchasing one (1) low center of gravity diesel tractor with
power steering as standard equipment for the Parks and Recreation
Department; and,
WHEREAS, International Harvester submitted a bid for
furnishing said low center of gravity diesel tractor with power
steering as standard equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by International Harvester is the lowest and best'
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of International Harvester in the amount of
$2,695.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the day of
December, 1971.
