A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on November 9, 19711
for purchasing one (1) hydraulic derrick/digger with optional
equipment as follows: #2265 Disc Brake Assembly for locking
basket in working position and BCO21 Derrick Storage Rest,
removable "A" frame type installed at rear of platform,
for the Traffic & Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Commercial Body Corporation submitted a bid
for furnishing said hydraulic derrick/digger with optional
equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Commercial Body Corporation is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
-OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Commercial Body Corporation in the amount of
$11,384.50 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the 16th day of
November, 1971.
