A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, as part of its Capital Improvements Program,
the City of Beaumont will construct a new central library
facility; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it
should retain a library consultant to assist the City and the
City's architect in the planning of said new library facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract retaining Hoyt Galvin & Associates as a
consultant for the City in the planning of a new central
library facility, at a total cost to the City not to exceed
$3,000.00; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to said contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
