R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the Sabine River
Authority jointly desire to acquire, construct and establish in
the vicinity of the City of Beaumont a sewage disposal system;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the Sabine River
Authority have negotiated a contract for such joint construction;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said
contract is to the benefit.of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Beaumont a contract with the Sabine River Authority
for the construction of a sewage disposal system under the terms
and conditions contained in said contract; and that the City Clerk
is authorized to attest to same and to affix the seal of the City
thereto.
