R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Port of Beaumont, as part of its expansion
program, has awarded the contract for relocation of the City of
Beaumont's storm sewer outfall structures; and,
WHEREAS, the Port of Beaumont has requested permission
from the City to use City property between Riverside Drive and
the west bank of the Neches River for the completion of this
project; and,
WHEREAS, completion of the relocation of the City's storm
sewer outfall structures will be in the best interest of the City
of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to permit
the Port of Beaumont to use City property located between River-
side Drive and the west bank of the Neches River for the construction
and relocation of the City's storm sewer outfall structures.
