R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, 3200' of 8" water line is needed to connect the
Tyrrell Park Road water system with the Highway 124 water system;
and,
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the cost of the material
for this extension will be approximately $6,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the purchase of said material is urgently needed
because the contract for the reconstruction of the Highway 124
bridge has been awarded and an early renewal of the existing City
line will be necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the Director of Water Utilities is hereby authorized to
purchase material necessary for the completion of approximately
3200' of 8" water line to connect the Tyrrell Park Road water
system with the Highway 124 water system.
PASSED by the City Council this 12th day of October, 1971.
