R E S O L U T 1-0 N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the Layne Texas
Company executed a certain Agreement on May 5, 1971, for the
inspection, testing and repair of Wells No. 1 and 2 of the City
located in south Hardin County, Texas, north of Beaumont, at
the total contract price of $14,276.65; and,
WHEREAS, Charles J. Clark, Water Production Super-
intendent, has inspected the work and recommends its acceptance
and final payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the
aforesaid Agreement in all particulars and does further authorize
the final payment of $14,276.65 to the contractor.
