R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appointed the
firm of Dickson, Dickson & Bullock as Architect for the Water
Utilities Service Center Building under the Capital Improvements
Program, and had previously authorized its City Manager,
Charles V. Hill, to negotiate a contract with the said firm;
and,
WHEREAS, a proposed contract has been prepared and approved
by the legal office and approved by the staff, and each council-
man has been provided a copy of said proposed contract; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
execution of said contract is in the best interest of the City
of Beaumont and its citizenry;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
said contract for and in behalf of the City of Beaumont with the
firm of Dickson, Dickson & Bullock for the Water Utilities Service
Center Building project of the Capital Improvements Program•, as
that program was established by the vote of the citizens of the
City of Beaumont; and the City Clerk is authorized to attest
said contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont
thereto.
