R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS,
the City
received bids
on August
31,
1971,
for one (1) 12 to
14 cu. yd.
tandem dump
truck for
the
Solid
Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, International Harvester Company submitted
a bid for furnishing one (1) 12 to 14 cu. yd. tandem dump truck;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by International Harvester Company is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of International Harvester Company in the amount of
Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Two and 70/100 ($14,392.70)
Dollars be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
