WHEREAS, the City received bids on August 31, 1971
for one (1) crawler type loader complete with two and one half
(22) yard bucket and added landfill blade for the Solid Waste
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Fogle Equipment Co. submitted a bid for
furnishing one (1) crawler type loader complete with two and
one half (22) yard bucket and added landfill blade; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Fogle Equipment Co. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Fogle Equipment Co. in the amount of Fifty -Four
Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Nine and No/100 ($54,239.00) Dollars
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
