HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 122 AAA1 ,2 24,',4 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, the Director of the Health Department has informed the City Council that weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants have been permitted to grow upon the hereinafter described property in violation of Article III of Chapter 16 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the said Director has informed the City Council that the owners of said property have failed to cut down and remove said weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants within ten (10) days after legal notice to such owners to do so; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the Director of the Health Department be and he is hereby authorized to have cut down and removed the weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants growing upon the following described property situated in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to -wit: Lots 7 and 8, Block 14, Oakwood Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Tract 7, Plat D, D. Brown Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Tract 20, Plat V, J. Drake Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lots 14, 15 and 16, Block 9, Averill Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lot 8, Block 14, Van Wormer II Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; North part of Tract 13, Plat B-22, J. A. Veatch Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Tract 4A, Plat B-6, J. W. Bullock Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lot 10, Block 2, Cartwright Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Tract 94 out of Thomas Spear Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; • � l�w;�-fJ � Lot 18, Block 7, Bel Air Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and Lot 18, Block 15, Bel Air Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article 4436 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and Section.16-26 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, such work shall be done at the expense of the City, on the account of the owners of such property, and such expense shall be assessed on the above-described property.
