A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, a request was made of the Planning and Zoning
Commission that the name of West Port Arthur Road located between
Virginia Street and the south Corporate Limits of the City of
Beaumont, Texas, be changed to Avenue A; and
WHEREAS, such request was considered and approved and
recommended by said Planning and Zoning Commission and referred to
the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That West Port Arthur Road located between Virginia Street and the
south Corporate Limits of the City of Beaumont, Texas, be, and the
same is hereby, changed and shall henceforth be known as Avenue A.
