HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 91 AAA7/ A4 �- R E S 0 L U T I 0 N WHEREAS, the Director of the Health Department has informed the City Council that weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants have been permitted to growupon the hereinafter described property in violation of Article III of Chapter 16 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the said Director has informed the City Council that the owners of said property have failed to cut down and re- move said weeds, grass, and uncultivated plants within ten (10) days after legal notice to such owners to do so; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the Director of the Health Department be and he is hereby authorized to have cut down and removed the weeds, grass and un- cultivated plants growing upon the following described property situated in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, to -wit: Lot 12, Block 55, Cartwright Addition,to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;. Plat C6, Tract 51, Noah Tevis Addition,to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Plat B21, Center 107' of No. 1 and 2, Tract 8, Veatch Survey, to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; Lot 19, Block 3, Rosemont Addition, to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and Lots 1 to 7, Block 38 and Lots 1 to 8, Block 39, Cartwright Terrace Addition, to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article 4436 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas and Section 16-26 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, such work shall be done at the expense of the City, on the account of the owners of such property, and such expense shall be assessed on the above described property. d PASSED by the City Council this the day of ititfE , 1971. - Mayor -
