R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on June -10., 1971 for
one (1) self-propelled clipper, Model C -187H, 18 HP concrete saw
with electric start and water pump for the Traffic and Transportation
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Norton Company submitted a bid for furnishing
one (1) self-propelled clipper, Model C -187H, 18 HP concrete saw
with electric start and water pump; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Norton Company is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Norton Company in the amount of One Thousand Four
Hundred Sixty Five and 50/100 ($1,465.50) Dollars be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
