BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized'
to execute a lease agreement leasing from Sears Roebuck &
Company, the following described property for a term of
five (5) years at an annual rental of Two Hundred ($200.00)
Dollars:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
South line of Laurel Avenue produced Eastward
and the East line of Magnolia. Avenue produced
Southward, said beginning point being 60 feet
Southward along the East line of Magnolia Ave-
nue from the Southwest corner of Block No. 21"
of CALDER ADDITION to the City of Beaumont;
thence Southward along the East line of Magnolia
Avenue produced, 34 feet, more or less, to the
Northerly right-of-way line of the Texas and New
Orleans Railroad;
thence Northeastward along said Northerly right-
of-way line of the T.& N.O. Railroad, 112 feet,
more or less, to its intersection with the South
line of Laurel Avenue produced Eastward;
thence Westward with said South line of Laurel
Avenue produced, 107 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning, containing 1820 square feet,
more or less;
and that the City Clerk is authorized to attest same and
affix the seal of the City thereto.
