R E S 0 L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on May 26, 1971 for
two (2) Crown Model Sewage Pumps #PO4LC for the Water
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Southern Engine & Pump Company submitted a
bid for furnishing two (2) Crown Model Sewage Pumps #PO4LC;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Southern Engine & Pump Company is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Southern Engine & Pump Company in the amount
of One Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-two and No/100 ($1,432.00)
Dollars be accepted by the City of Beaumont.,
PASSED by the City Council this the 14t day of
1971.
