R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1971, the City received bids for
38 chain link stalls for the swine shed at Fair Park for the
City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Maida Fence Company submitted a bid for furnish-
ing such 38 chain link stalls for the swine shed at Fair Park;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Maida Fence Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted, and that a Contract with Maida Fence
Company for furnishing 38 chain link stalls for the swine shed
at Fair Park should be executed, and that the said 38 chain
link stalls for the swine shed at Fair Park be purchased from
Maida Fence Company under said Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
that the bid of Maida Fence Company be accepted and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Beaumont a contract with Maida Fence Company for
38 chain link stalls for the swine shed at Fair Park at the
price as specified in their bid;
That the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, authorized to
attest to said Contract and to affix the seal of the City of
Beaumont thereto.
