R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on May 11,
1971 for one (1) new 9 wheel, 10 to 15 ton self-
propelled pneumatic tired roller powered by a diesel
engine for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Browning-Ferris Machinery Company
submitted a bid for furnishing One (1) new 9 wheel,
10 to 15 ton self-propelled pneumatic tired roller
powered by a diesel engine; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion
that the bid submitted by Browning-Ferris Machinery
Company is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEA.UMONT:
That the bid of Browning-Ferris Machinery Company in
the amount of Eight Thousand Six Hundred Forty and
No/100 ($8,640.00) Dollars be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the
day of May, 1971.
