R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on May 11,
1971 for one (1) diesel powered motor grader for the
Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Browning-Ferris Machinery Company
submitted a bid for furnishing one (1) diesel powered
motor grader; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion
that the bid submitted by Browning-Ferris Machinery
Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Browning-Ferris Machinery Company in the
amount of Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty -Six
($18,766.00) Dollars be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the lIfIlk
day of May, 1971.
