A R E S 0 L U T I 0 N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the Joe C. Norman
Equipment Company executed a certain Contract on June 30,
1970, and Change Order No. 1 dated December 16, 1970, and
Change Order No. 2 dated March 29, 1971, for improvements of
Gladys Avenue from 23rd Street to Edson Drive at a total
contract price of $176,247.05; and,
WHEREAS, the City Departments involved have inspected
the work and recommends its acceptance and final payment to
the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of
the aforesaid contract in all particulars and does further
authorize the final payment of $54,262.85 to the contractor,
Joe C. Norman Equipment Company.
PASSED by the City Council this the �1 day of
May, 1971.
