R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1971, the City received bids
for waterproofing the exterior walls of City Hall in the City
of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, Coatings Application and Waterproofing Company
in the sum of $27,860.00 for such waterproofing of exterior walls
of City Hall; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Coatings Application and Waterproofing Company
is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted and contract
entered into with Coatings Application and Waterproofing Company
for said waterproofing.the exterior walls of City Hall;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF'THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Coatings Application and Waterproofing Company
be accepted and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont the contract with
Coatings Application and Waterproofing Company for the waterproofing
of the exterior walls of City Hall in The City of Beaumont, in accordance
with specifications submitted to bidders, for the sum of $27,860.00;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said contract
and to affix the Seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
