WHEREAS, bids have been received for the inspection,
testing and repair of Wells No. 1 and 2 of the City located in
south Hardin County, Texas, north of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the work contemplated being of personal and
professional nature, it has been recommended by the City Staff
that the bid of Layne Texas Company be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Layne Texas Company for the inspection, test and
repair of Wells No. 1 and 2 of the City of Beaumont be accepted,
and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a Contract for that purpose; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City
of Beaumont thereto.
