A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, the City received bids for one ultra -violet
visible spectrophotometer for the Police Department; and,.
WHEREAS, -Perkin-Elmer Corporation submitted a bid for
furnishing one ultra -violet visible spectrophotometer; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Perkin-Elmer Corporation is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of Perkin-Elmer Corporation in the amount of
$7,550.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and that said
ultra=violet visible spectrophotometer be purchased from
Perkin-Elmer Corporation.
PASSED by the City Council this the 13th day of
April, 1971.
