R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City received bids on April 6, 1971 for
two (2) four-wheel street sweepers for the Street Department;
and,
WHEREAS, South Texas Equipment Company submitted a bid
for furnishing two (2) four-wheel street sweepers; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by South Texas Equipment Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid of South Texas Equipment Company in the amount of
Thirty Thousand Four Hundred and No/100 ($30,400.00) Dollars be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED by the City Council this the J3 Xday of
1971.
