A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and the Chris A. Maida
Fence Co. executed a certain Contract on January 11, 1971, for
the construction of a fence in the vicinity of Tyrrell Park at
a total contract price of $11,496; and,.
WHEREAS, the Beaumont Golf Association has donated
to the City of Beaumont sufficient funds to pay the consideration
of the Contract; and,
WHEREAS, the representative from the Public Works
Department, H. J. Kelly, has inspected the work and recommends
its acceptance and final payment to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the
aforesaid Contract in all particulars and does further authorize
the final payment of $11,496 to the contractor, Chris A. Maida
Fence Co.
