A RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received on December 8, 1970, for.,
furnishing necessary materials, equipment, superintendence,
and labor for the construction of a tennis court at Liberia
Park; and,
WHEREAS, E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company submitted a
bid for the construction of a tennis court at Liberia Park,
which was the lowest and best bid received, and the City
Manager recommended that the bid of E. R. Dupuis Concrete
Company for.the construction of a tennis court at Liberia
Park be accepted and which bid was awarded to E. R. Dupuis
Concrete Company on December 22, 1970;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That a contract dated February 17, 1971, with E. R. Dupuis Concrete
Company for the construction of a tennis court at Liberia Park,
executed by the City Manager on behalf of the City of Beaumont,
is hereby ratified; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
attest to said contract and to affix the Seal of The City of
Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this 2nd day of March, 1971.
