A R E S O LUT ION
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont is the owner of several
tracts of land which are now or may in the future be designated
as parking lots; and,
WHEREAS, the City as the owner of said areas either
now designated or to be designated as a parking lot desires to
provide for employee only parking on these lots during certain
times; and,
WHEREAS, the State Law, Article 1015m, allows for the
removal of unauthorized vehicles in parking lots;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be authorized to establish in accordance
with the State Law of Texas certain lots owned by the City as
employee only parking lots during certain hours, said designa-
tion to be made at the discretion of the City Manager so long
as it is done in strict compliance with the State Law of Texas.
