R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Beaumont Council of Garden Clubs, of
Beaumont, Texas, has graciously offered to pay full construction
costs of a certain improvement to be erected in Tyrrell Park
and to be known as "Garden Center", to be available to Garden
C1ubs.of the City of Beaumont and other acceptable organizations;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council believes this gracious offer
to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of
Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute an Agreement with the Beaumont Council of Garden
Clubs for the construction of the Garden Center, at no cost
to the City, and further providing for the establishment of
rules and regulations for the use and enjoyment of the Garden
Center.
