A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council of Beaumont is desirous of most
effectively utilizing its time, with the objective of providing
the citizenry of Beaumont with effective and efficient represen-
tation; and,
WHEREAS, to achieve this objective it is the opinion of
the City Council that its vast volume of work can be more
effectively handled by division of preliminary investigative
work among its members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the following Committees,.each composed of two Council-
men and an alternate, the alternate to serve in the absence of
one of the two regular members, shall be established for the pur-
pose of making preliminary reports and recommendations to the
entire Council on matters within its category:
1. A Community Development -Committee, composed of LeRoy
Evans and Calvin Williams as regular members, with T.R.11Bo"
Crawford as alternate member.
2. A Finance Committee composed of T.R."Bo" Crawford and
Conrad Mang as regular members, with LeRoy Evans as alternate
member.
3. Intergovernmental Relations, with Ken Ritter and
Conrad Mang as regular members, and Calvin Williams as alternate
member.
