A R E S O LUT ION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Paul A. Brown, Herman M. Myers, William F. Nelson, Donald
L. DeCordova and R. 0. "Bill" Williams, Jr. are hereby named
and appointed to serve on the Board of Equalization for one (1)
year from 'and after the date of their qualification, or until
and unless otherwise provided by ordinance or resolution of the
City Council.
The Board of Equalization shall have the powers and
duties as conferred upon it by virtue of Article VIII, Sections
5 through 9 of the Charter of The City of Beaumont, and each
member shall receive as compensation for his labor as such the
sum of $50.00 per day for each day he actually serves on said
Board in the actual discharge of his duties as a member thereof.
PASSED by the City Council this the 29th day of
December, 1970.
